Bijbel is a program that displays three versions of the book Genesis of the Bible in one window next to each other. Each verse of Genesis is displayed at the same hight in the window so that the versions can be compared easily. The Hebrew text is displayed right to left and with vowels. The Greek and Dutch are displayed left to right. The Greek is with accents.

The three versions are:

• Hebrew text: Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia
  The hebrew text is from http://www.anastesontai.com/, which follows the Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia, 3rd edition (Michigan-Claremont-Wesminster text)
• Greek text: the Septuaginta
  The Septuaginta text is from Domus Ecclesiae: http://www.domus-ecclesiae.de/margo.html, Textus secundum Alfredum Rahlfs editorem
• Dutch text: De Statenvertaling.
